We’d like to buy our son a digital camera for the holidays, but then we’d be spending more on him than on his younger sister. Is that really terrible?

Spending amounts

Children do not like or dislike the things we give them accourding to the amount we spend, only if it is what they would like. A dollar or a hundred does not make the differance, Next time the price will be reversed. Enjoy giving each their own gift and let them enjoy it also, with no gilt.

siblings and gifts

Spending additional dollars to improve the quality of a gift is money well spent. If you want to see yourself in pictures, buy others a camera. If you rather not be in the pictures, give yourself the camera and send copies of the pictures to those whose picture you take.Give the camera and use the old Kodak "Open me first" label on the package.
